After the break caused by the pandemic, the players and helpers of the Kollerschlag theater group once more prepared a play with zeal. “Da Pfenningfuchser” is played, a Bavarian comedy in three acts by Peter Landstorfer. The gravel pit owner and large farmer Dugg Bertl does not make it easy for his servants to live up to his savings plans. However, even the “penny fox” has to learn that envy and stinginess are not worthwhile.
Dugg Bertl is a penny pincher, as it is in the (savings) book. Those around him have long since gotten used to the fact that he stuffs a hole in the sole of his shoe with newspaper, pays bills far too late or measures the exact size of the dumplings, but when Bertl even refuses the orphanage sister Gibmera the promised alms in the form of gravel, because When he sees a certain Gernot Nigl as a solvent customer for his entire supply of gravel, a memo is planned to convert the miser once and for all. A rusty nail unexpectedly comes to the rescue.
