Which sector of Neuquén is still on yellow alert for extreme heat

The heat was oppressive on Tuesday in Neuquén and Río Negro, with temperatures above 35 degrees in much of the two provinces.

By Wednesday the conditions will be milder, except in a sector of Neuquén in which the National Meteorological Service issued a yellow alert for extreme temperatures.

It is a large part of North Neuquén. More precisely the following areas: East of Loncopué, East of Pincunches, East of Ñorquín, West of Añelo, West of Pehuenches, South of Chos Malal and South of the Minas department.

Wednesday and Thursday temperatures would not exceed 34 degrees, at least in the Valleys. Friday and Sunday the heat would return with force in Neuquén and Río Negro.

Much of the country on alert for extreme heat

A large part of the center and the coast of the country registered high temperatures today, and the pampas city of Santa Rosa had the highest mark, with 40°, according to the latest ranking of the National Meteorological Service, which maintained the alert for extreme temperatures for 13 provinces.

According to the service under the Ministry of Defense, the alert extends to the entire province of Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Entre Ríos, a large part of La Pampa, with the exception of the western zone, the south and northeast zone of San Luis , the southern zone of San Juan, the south of Santa Fe, the center and northeast of Corrientes.

This alert also extends to the north of Neuquén, and the northern zone of the province of Salta, specified the SMN in its report released at 18:17.

For the City of Buenos Aires, which is under the yellow alert, a maximum of 36° and a minimum of 24° is expected for tomorrow, on a day that is expected to have partly cloudy skies.
