He Deputy Máximo Kirchner broke the silence in the Chamber of Deputies to defend the pension moratorium law and argued that “no Argentine retiree originates the fiscal deficit.”
“Today there are 800,000 Argentines and Argentines that for different reasons that were explained they need this law”, said Kirchner, who spoke at the end of the session on Tuesday, the last of the special period.
The legislator acknowledged that “it is true that this law is not enough, but today there will be less to go than yesterday for each Argentine. The construction of a more just society is this”.
“The political leaders decide to give a quorum or not to give a quorum. I did not give a quorum for the payment law to the Vultures funds. This year, Argentine society will be able to decide who gives a quorum and who does not give a quorum, ”he warned in another passage of his speech.
Besides, Kirchner referred to the escrache suffered by the opposition deputies in ANSES offices for not having followed the pension moratorium last year.
“If you feel bad regarding seeing your face on a poster, imagine how many of us feel when they trigger the vice president’s head.”

“If any deputy or deputy felt bad regarding the posters, it is understandable. It’s also a bit of empathy. If you feel bad regarding seeing your face on a poster, imagine how many of us feel when they shoot the vice president in the head”, he asserted, and received applause from his bench.
Meanwhile, he considered that “no retiree or retiree originates the fiscal deficit. The State invests in its inhabitants. They are Argentine men and women who need the presence of the Argentine State”.
Finally, Kirchner pointed out that “most of the states in the world are in fiscal deficit. I don’t think that’s Argentina’s problem in its accounts”.
