Bad luck pursues David Goffin. The Belgian tennis number 1 must give up the spring tour in the United States.
Injured in the left knee, the 32-year-old from Liège had to withdraw before his round of 16 at the ATP 250 tournament in Marseille last week
He will therefore not be present in the two cement ATP Masters 1000 tournaments in Indian Wells (March 8-19) and Miami (March 22-April 2). He didn’t have many points to defend having lost in the 1st round in California and the 2nd in Florida twelve months ago. It was already a knee injury in 2021 that forced David Goffin to end his season prematurely at the end of August. He had been absent from the courts for more than three months.
