ANSES, national health security agency
ANSES provides public decision-makers with the scientific benchmarks needed to protect human health and the environment once morest health risks. It studies, assesses and monitors all the chemical, microbiological and physical risks to which humans, animals and plants are exposed, and thus helps the public authorities to take the necessary measures, including in the event of a health crisis. It issues marketing authorizations for veterinary medicinal products, phytosanitary products and biocides. A national agency serving the general interest, ANSES reports to the ministries responsible for health, the environment, agriculture, labor and consumer affairs.
The IFCE, technical institute of reference for the equine sector
The French Institute for Horses and Riding (IFCE) is the public operator supporting the professionalization of the equine sector. It was born from the merger, in 2010, of two entities: the Haras Nationaux and the Cadre Noir de Saumur. The IFCE is an institute of support, expertise and applied research, with a technical vocation.
Its main activities are: research, innovation, development and transfer of knowledge; training to develop professional skills; promoting French equestrian heritage; regulatory expertise and support for the equine industry; sanitary and zootechnical traceability of equidae; the contribution to support policies for equestrian sports.
