The worship went too far and Vineeth Srinivasan ran away

Cherthala (Alappuzha): The scenes of actor Vineeth Srinivasan running away from the stage for life went viral on social media when the disturbance of the fans got too much during the song mela. As part of the festival at the Cherthala Varanad Devi Temple, the disturbance by the worshipers escalated on Saturday night, which is Kumbhabharani day.
Then Vineet ran away from near the venue. Fans gathered around Vineeth Srinivasan when he came backstage following singing a song at the music festival. Vineeth might not control the crowd and arrange security as there was a huge crowd to meet, take selfies and buy autographs.
He ran to the car which was parked some distance away with no other option. The fans chased following him without catching him, but he ran fast and got into the car and escaped.
It is clear from the video footage that Vineet’s face was full of fear all this time.
The Devaswom office bearers said that security arrangements were made for Vineeth Srinivasan but the crowd might not be controlled and necessary precautionary measures will be taken to prevent such incidents from happening once more.
