Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Andrei Fursenko said that following the reform of the Russian system of higher education, bachelor’s degrees will be equated with diplomas of full higher education.
“These diplomas [бакалавра] equated to diplomas of higher education. These are specialists who have received higher education, ”the official said on the air of the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
Fursenko also recalled that in Soviet times, all graduates of higher educational institutions were called graduates, regardless of the length of their education. “The same will happen now,” he stressed.
At the same time, the official noted that graduates of Russian universities will be able to enter foreign educational institutions or get a job in foreign companies, since the scientific degree in their diplomas can be indicated along with the name of the specialty: “There are levels of education, and it doesn’t matter what these levels are called.
