Dramatic accident in Spain: a Belgian dies on a motorway in a hit-and-run accident

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, on the Spanish highway AP-7, between Alicante and Cartagena, a motorist hit a large metal structure. It ended up on the road and blocked traffic in both directions, reports the Spanish press.

While the alleged perpetrator fled, three cars hit this metal structure. Two of them were heading towards Murcia and the other towards Alicante.

It was in the latter that a forty-year-old Belgian lost her life. The driver and the miner seated in the back were injured.

Four people have been hospitalized, local authorities report.
