Nokia: a new logo to modernize the brand

Nokia unveiled a new logo at the MWC show in Barcelona this weekend, launched as part of a drive to modernize its brand and launch a new technology strategy.

While the previous logo – inherited from activities in mobile devices – was composed of blue letters on a white background, its new version removes part of the letters N, K and A, giving it a more contemporary look.

The Finnish group explains that this new logo reflects what it is today, namely a ‘B2B’ company specializing in technological innovation to reveal the potential of digital in all sectors of activity.

This new signature illustrates an “energetic, dynamic and modern” Nokia, he adds, while symbolizing its know-how in terms of collaboration.

As for its new strategy, it aims in particular to gain market share among service providers, to increase the share of turnover achieved with enterprises, to monetize intellectual property and to deploy new types of services, example in technologies on demand (as-a-service’).
