Early detection raises the cure rate for breast cancer to 95%.

The Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council stressed the importance of conducting periodic examinations on a regular basis, because of their utmost importance in the early detection of some serious diseases, and thus the speedy treatment of them.

The council indicated that the cure rate for breast cancer increased by 95% if detected early, indicating that 90% of people with colon cancer enjoy a longer life if it is detected in its early stages.

He explained that 90% of women who are diagnosed with periodontal cancer of the cervix are easy to treat, if diagnosed in the early stages.

He stated that 45% of people with high blood pressure do not discover their disease until following going to the doctor, and that 45% of cardiac arrest cases are silent.
