From time to time, developers recall old games. In the case of LA Noire, this did not lead to anything good.
Players in LA Noire reported the release of the patch. A recent mysterious update weighed in at 148.9 MB.
Something broke in LA Noire. For example, meet complaints from those who run the game in full screen mode – you have to press alt + enter every time. If you select borderless windowed mode, the game loads in full screen mode. When the resolution is set to 4K, part of the menu “falls off”, the mouse cursor does not fall below the middle of the screen.
It looks like there are some positives as well. The problematic Settings.ini file works better. The player under the nickname elendil093 said at all: the game began to work better and it seems to him that driving has been improved.
There is also an alternative opinion: this is just an update to the Rockstar Games Launcher (in the Steam downloads section, the launcher update is displayed as a regular game update, which might cause confusion).
