Bahrain has benefited from positive use of post-Covid tourism potential

Bahrain has benefited from positive use of post-Covid tourism potential. After the covid crisis, Bahrain’s tourism sector has seen a good growth. According to the figures released by the government, only 150 crore dinars in 2022 will be earned from the tourism sector.

The crisis caused by covid has significantly affected the tourism sector globally. But the authorities consider it as a big step forward that with the current surge, it has been able to generate more revenue than before Covid. Reports in this regard also show that the effective interventions of the Bahraini government and authorities have helped the tourism sector to make a big comeback.

Last year, 99 lakh visitors from different countries came to Bahrain. Looking at the figures for 2020 and 2021, there is a three-fold increase in the number of visitors last year alone.
