The Government of Canada is recalling a model of external battery sold in Canada, the use of which may cause a fire.
The affected product is the Anker 535 (PowerCore 20k) Power Bank, Model A1366 in Black.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Anker 535 Power Bank and contact Anker Customer Service for a refund,” the government said in a statement.
The object was sold in all of Canada, but only on the Amazon.ca site, between October 2022 and January 2023.
