Major Ravi’s Facebook post:
“I saw a movie yesterday. ‘It’s become a lover’…
I saw the movie in Chennai. For some reason I liked it a lot.
A picture that reminds me of my childhood school days. Love during that time will have to face many difficulties. Because if the neighbors see it or the residents see it, there can be big problems. I don’t need to tell you the problems that will arise if the family finds out.. I have experienced all this. To be honest, when I saw the picture, a nostalgia crossed my mind.
Another thing that influenced me in this film was the character played by Sharafu. The value of sibling relationship is very much cherished in this movie.
It was a time when every father wanted his son to achieve what he might not. In this picture we can see a person going through it.
Even a small child can happily sit down and watch this movie, even if it is a small idea.
The film never mentions caste though it goes through Hindu-Muslim romance. Rather, it is a film that connects human relationships.
Bhavana returns to Malayalam following a break in this film. In this film, Bhavana portrays a very mature girl unlike the characters we have seen. The person who thought of me as a little boy named Sharafu, with such maturity, has become a good brother, a good lover, and despite the vicissitudes of any person, he pays the price for that old love. I was very happy to see him as a character who was ready to endure anything for that.
Sharafu was so natural that it never felt like acting. Similarly, Sharafu’s little sister has no escape! That little boy stays in the mind. Seeing Ashoka as Sharafu’s father as a father, because I always liked Ashoka. Loved this one character of Ashoka a lot. Everyone has a father like this in their life. A father who really understands those mental conflicts. I have also gone through this period.
Congratulations to Bhavana, Sharafu, Kochu Nichiksha, Ashokan and all the actors and crew, especially to the Director and the scriptwriter.
