Poor air quality causes 15,000 deaths a year in Canada

According to recent data from Health Canada, 15,000 premature deaths per year are linked to exposure to air pollution. Of this number, 4,000 deaths occur in Quebec.

To talk regarding the impact that fine particles can have on the health of citizens, Dr. Claudel Pétrin-Desrosiers, who is a family doctor and president of the Quebec Association of Physicians for the Environment.
