Alex Edkins and Graham Walsh of the bands METZ and Holy Fuck unite under the name Noble Rot

Torontonians have teamed up in a new side project named Noble Rot and their first long format titled Heveanly Bodies, Repetition, Control is due out March 24 via Joyful Noise.

According to the news published by Exclaim, the duo’s Bandcamp page, which just went live, talks regarding “pushing the boundaries of sonic experimentation”. The aim of these two respected musicians would be to reward fans “with an exciting long format, filled to the brim with unbridled musical curiosity and boundless excitement, which is sure to surprise and excite fans. longtime like curious music lovers”.

Following this announcement, Noble Rot launches an excellent single, Casting No Light. The music video for the song was directed by John Smith and the mastering of the track is the work of Seth Manchester, the man who runs the Machines With Magnets studio. A highly promising project!
