Belgium | European Commission to Ban Tik Tok from Official Devices The European Commission’s decision comes amid concerns about data protection.
The EU has made it clear that employees cannot use Chinese-owned video-sharing apps on personal devices, including phones with official apps installed. The European Commission said employees should remove the app as soon as possible.
In the US, the app was banned from devices by the federal government last year.
