PARIS, February 23 (Archyde.com) – The stocks to watch on Thursday on the Paris Stock Exchange and in Europe where index futures give a slightly higher opening:
* BOUYGUES BOUY.PA is aiming for a turnover close to that of 2022 this year, the group citing an unstable environment marked by inflation, rising interest rates and currency volatility.
* ESSILORLUXOTTICA ESLX.PA reported a record year 2022 in terms of revenue, operating profit and net profit.
* AXA AXAF.PA reported on Thursday a net result below expectations for the year 2022 due to the greater than expected impact of the rise in interest rates on the valuation of bond assets and announced a new share buyback program.
* EIFFAGE FOUG.PA has published higher results for 2022 and will propose at the general meeting an increase of 0.50 euro in the dividend, to 3.60 euros per share.
* ACCOR ACCP.PA announced an 80% increase in turnover for the 2022 financial year, at constant scope and exchange rates, to 4.22 billion euros, a gross operating surplus higher than the objective and a net result of 402 million.
* SOLVAY SOLB.BR announced that it had generated net sales of 13.4 billion, up 25.6% organically, and record underlying Ebitda at 3.23 billion euros.
* GETLINK GETF.PA on Thursday reported record annual results in 2022, driven by the commissioning of ElecLink, which allows electricity exchanges between France and Great Britain, as well as by solid traffic between the two countries.
* NEXITY NEXI.PA announced in a press release that it had recorded 2022 results in line with its objectives, with in particular a turnover of 4.7 billion euros, but anticipates a year 2023 “marked by many uncertainties” with a turnover down slightly.
* M6 MMTP.PA – Xavier Niel’s project was not retained by the Audiovisual and Digital Communication Regulatory Authority (Arcom) for the renewal of the allocation of channel six of DTT. M6 therefore retains this slot and TF1
TFFP.PA, the sole successor candidate for channel 1, will continue to operate the frequency.
* ERAMET ERMT.PA reported its annual results, marked by a gross operating surplus (Ebitda) of 1.55 billion euros and a net result of 740 million.
* SEB SEBF.PA published annual sales of 7.96 billion euros, down 4.7% at constant exchange rates and scope, and net income of 316 million, down 30% compared to 2021 .
* BUREAU VERITAS BVI.PA announced Thursday increased annual results with a turnover of 5.65 billion euros and a net result Group share of 466.7 million.
* ARKEMA AKE.PA reported 2022 revenue growth of 21.3% and a gross operating surplus of 2.11 billion euros but taking into account a “lack of visibility and still weak demand” at the start of the year, the group is aiming for an Ebitda of around 1.5 billion to 1.6 billion euros in 2023.
* SOPRA STERIA SOPR.PA published organic revenue growth of 7.6%, exceeding its target, and net income up 32.0% to reach 247.8 million euros.
* FNAC DARTY FNAC.PA – The Czech businessman Daniel Kretinsky is seeking to increase his stake in the specialized distribution group Fnac Darty and would be ready to buy the shares of Ceconomy, which is the largest shareholder with 24% of the capital, reports BFM Business on Thursday, citing several sources.
* BNP PARIBAS BNPP.PA – Three non-governmental organizations (NGOs) announced Thursday their intention to launch legal action once morest BNP Paribas because of its financial support for new fossil fuel projects.
* HEIDELBERG MATERIALS HEIG.DE (formerly HeidelbergCement) anticipates an increase in sales in 2023 compared to the record of 21.1 billion euros, announced the world’s second cement manufacturer.
* DEUTSCHE TELEKOM DTEGn.DE posted better-than-expected quarterly results and expects profit growth this year.
* MUNICH RE MUVGn.DE – The reinsurer said it posted a 74% rise in net profit in the fourth quarter, which allowed it to exceed its annual target.
* SAP SAPG.DE on Wednesday appointed former Deloitte firm boss Punit Renjen as chairman of the supervisory board to succeed co-founder Hasso Plattner, whose term expires in May 2024.
* British defense group BAE SYSTEMS BAES.L saw its annual profit grow by 9.5% and expects a further rise in 2023.
* WPP WPP.L anticipates organic revenue growth for 2023 that exceeds expectations following winning new customers, which enabled it to achieve sales close to its target last year.
* ROLLS-ROYCE RR.L did better than expected in terms of operating profit in 2022, driven by better performance in civil aerospace and power systems.
* ENI ENI.MI announced on Thursday that its adjusted net profit reached 13.3 billion euros in 2022, up sharply on the previous year, thanks to the strength of oil and gas prices.
* PIRELLI PIRC.MI published higher-than-company-provided revenue and adjusted operating profit (Ebit) for the fourth quarter.
* TELEFONICA TEF.MC said on Thursday it reported higher-than-expected net profit of 2.01 billion euros in 2022.
* UNIBAIL-RODAMCO-WESTFIELD URW.AS – Goldman Sachs raises its recommendation to “neutral” once morest “sell”.
