During the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, four people were injured in an impressive road accident which took place in Ans at the crossroads between rue de Jemeppe, rue de Loncin and Nationale 3.
It was 5:17 a.m. when the emergency services were notified of a violent accident that had just taken place between two cars in circumstances that remain to be determined. One of the cars ended its race once morest a residential facade following hitting a traffic light. The car was wedged between the house and the traffic light which bent under the violence of the impact.
The shock was particularly violent
Four people were rescued. Two victims were trapped in the passenger compartment of one of the vehicles. The emergency services freed them before transferring them to hospitals in the region.
A fire engine and an extrication vehicle from the Ans advanced post, an extrication vehicle from the Grace-Hollogne advanced post and a barracks officer vehicle went to the scene. Several ambulances and the SMUR of the CHR took care of the injured.
Emergency services did not comment on the condition of the victims.
