AnTuTu: Galaxy S23 Ultra vs Oneplus 11

Performance is one of the most important features to consider when choosing a smartphone. It can affect the user experience in many aspects like app loading speed, touch response, multitasking, gaming and more. In addition, performance is also directly related to the device’s processor, which is the “brain” that controls all operations. In this case, smartphones Galaxy S23 Ultra e OnePlus 11 are equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is known for its high performance and energy efficiency. The Oneplus 11 has 16GB of RAM once morest the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 12GB of RAM, both DDR5X memories with 4200MHz frequency, let’s analyze in more detail how this processor influences the performance of these two smartphones.

I did three consecutive tests, the overall score will be the weighted average of the three tests, thus showing which smartphone can hold a better performance for longer. This tactic is great for analyzing which smartphone can work better on internal heating, one of the factors that causes low performance.

The two smartphones were in the same environment, with the same temperature conditions. When starting the tests they were loaded, we waited for them to cool down and then we started the tests to have balance in the results.

Test 1:

In the first test, the Galaxy S23 Ultra scored 1,135,739 points, once morest 1,095,387 points for the OnePlus 11. The biggest difference in the test, as you can see in the result below, was in the CPU area, with regarding 33 thousand points more for the S23 Ultra.

Result:

As a final result we have the following scores:

  • OnePlus 11: 1,040,500 points;
  • Galaxy S23 Ultra: 1,117,292 points.

The difference between them is equivalent to 6.88% performance, according to the AnTuTu benchmark application, in version 9.5.2, tested on February 22, 2023. It is proven that by this benchmark test Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra has better overall performance, now the difference of almost 7% will not be noticed in your day-to-day actions. The two smartphones prove their power, and the S23 Ultra with less RAM memory was able to win the dispute.
