Who says new boss, says new rules. The arrival of Domenico Tedesco as national coach of the Red Devils will undoubtedly bring changes.
Domenico Tedesco arrived at the head of the Red Devils very recently but intends to enforce several rules and be respected at the same time.
“Discipline is important to me,” the new national coach told Het Laatste Nieuws. “I want everyone to feel good in the group and that’s why you need certain rules.”
The German-Italian coach would like a good understanding to be present in his group and for the players to make the most of the moments between them.
“I still remember an anecdote in connection with a German club. I remember that everyone arrived in time for dinner. But ten minutes later, all the tables were empty once more. In the south of the ‘Italy, people start lunch at noon and don’t finish until four o’clock,” Tedesco said with a laugh.
I think it’s important that the group can enjoy such moments
“I don’t want to say that everyone should sit at the table for two hours. But I think it’s important that the group can enjoy such moments,” he added.
Tedesco even ‘bragged’ that at every club he went to ‘at the end the players were having coffee or tea following dinner’.
