(CercleFinance.com) – Amazon announced on Wednesday that it has reached an agreement with NCSOFT to distribute the South Korean studio’s ‘Throne and Liberty’ video game in North America, South America, Europe and Japan.
Under the terms of the agreement, Amazon Games, the video game subsidiary of the American technology giant, will publish this massively multiplayer online role-playing game on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
For the Seattle group, the agreement signed with NCSOFT around this highly anticipated title illustrates the ‘rapid’ development of its activities in video game publishing.
Amazon recalls that it has already sealed several similar partnerships with companies such as Bandai Namco for the game ‘Blue Protocol’ or Crystal Dynamics for the next episode of ‘Tomb Raider’.
His projects with Glowmade and Disruptive Games have not yet been revealed.
In a separate statement, Amazon also announced on Wednesday that it had completed the acquisition of the One Medical healthcare network, a $3.9 billion deal it formalized last July.
With the completion of this acquisition, One Medical will offer – for a limited time – its annual subscription at a price of 144 dollars, or 12 dollars per month, instead of 199 dollars previously.
As a reminder, One Medical offers an ‘on-demand’ application allowing 24/7 access to virtual health services, and appointments the same or next day, whether online or in the office, for the most urgent visits.
