Since their birth in 1985, Mexican Moles have participated in rescues in dozens of countries. After the February 6th earthquake struck Turkey and Syria, several groups of Topos went to the affected areas in Turkish territory to try to find the survivors among the rubble. Pablo Vega, one of the rescuers, tells of the impact he suffered upon arriving in the province of Hatay and the feeling he had that “the city had come to nothing.”
