After criticism of the constitutional foundation: parties postpone the project

After sharp public criticism, the parliament adjourned the decision on the planned “Constitution Forum” foundation of the Constitutional Court (VfGH). Actually, the constitutional committee in parliament should have discussed and voted on the project today, Wednesday. A final decision was planned for next week in the National Council. As several parties confirm to the STANDARD, this will not happen for the time being. They want to have more time to incorporate the critical statements into the planned law.
