The Disciplinary Committee of the UAE Football Association decided to consider Al-Nasr (Al-Ameed) losing to its traditional rivals Al-Wasl (Emperor), 3-0.
The two arch-neighbors had met at the “Zabeel Stadium” at the top of the 17th round of the ADNOC Professional League, where the Emperor came out with a score of 2-0.
The Disciplinary Committee reviewed the referral request submitted by the UAE Professional League regarding the dean’s violation of the competition regulations.
Al-Nasr committed an administrative error by involving 7 foreign players and residents for 4 minutes of the life of the match, specifically between the 74th and 78th minutes, while Article 8 of the ADNOC Professional League regulations stipulates that “the number of foreign players, state-born and residents inside the stadium must not exceed 6 players.
In addition to considering Al-Ameed a 3-0 loser, the Disciplinary Committee decided to fine him 10,000 dirhams for throwing canisters at Al Wasl players.
As for the Emperor, he incurred a fine of 25,000 dirhams for using fireworks by his fans.
