Product recall: beware, these prawns sold at Leclerc should not be eaten

Shrimps sold in E.Leclerc stores are the subject of a product recall because of the presence of sulphites, not specified on the packaging.

Affected customers may be eligible for a refund. The frozen peeled shrimp of the Pêche Océan brand sold in E.Leclerc centers are currently subject to a recall procedure, indicated the government site. Drink reminder.

In question, the presence of sulphites which can cause allergies in some consumers.

The recall concerns 300 gram sachets of shrimp tails, corresponding to lot: VN325VI010, sold from December 22, 2022 to February 17, 2023, and whose expiry date is set no later than April 8, 2024.

Reminder Conso invites buyers not to consume the product, contact consumer service and bring these prawns back to the point of sale. Affected customers may be eligible for a refund.
