Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Anniversary No Remastered For Fans – Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Metal Gear Rising: Resurrection, a game that feels like it’s getting more and more popular with memes every year, recently celebrated its 10th anniversary.

You’d be forgiven if you didn’t know that such a celebration was going on, because PlatinumGames didn’t really get a big deal out of it. Still, some were hoping to announce a remaster of the action game.

Instead, all fans get is some extra artwork from the 2013 release. While the drawings are cool, they’re far from what fans expected. However, it’s hard to stay too crazy for too long, because in addition to the extra artwork, Metal Gear Rising: The Return’s director also includes a heartfelt message regarding the game’s success

“My most recent memory regarding the game, ten years following the game’s release, is seeing Armstrong and Sam in so many memes around the world,” Directed by Kenji Saito. “It feels unreal that MGR:R is still a talking point a full decade later.
