There was a crash on Tuesday morning on the Westautobahn near Hallwang and on the Tauernautobahn near Hallein. Both accidents resulted in property damage, according to the Salzburg police. Both accidents occurred at just before and at half past seven on Tuesday morning. According to the police, two vehicles may have been involved in the accident on the Tauernautobahn – even three to four vehicles on the Westautobahn.
The accidents led to significant traffic jams in the morning traffic. It was backed up on the west autobahn as far as Thalgau, and according to the ÖAMTC there were also backlogs in the Eugendorf driveway.
