Diverse apprenticeship at HANDLER
St. Pölten/Bad Schönau (OTS) –
Four weeks in Lisbon for an apprentice from HANDLER.
Christoph Weber did it. On Monday, February 13, 2023, the second-year structural engineering apprentice at Wifi St. Pölten received the official go for his scholarship abroad: four-week internship in a craft business in Lisbon.
“Let’s Walz!” is the name of the program that enables selected apprentices to do an internship at partner companies abroad. The participants attend a language course and get to know the country and its people. Christoph applied and qualified. In May he works in a Portuguese partner company, language course included.
Martin Artner, who is responsible for apprenticeships at HANDLER, accompanied him to the award ceremony. WKNÖ President Wolfgang Ecker and AK NÖ President Markus Wieser conducted the award ceremony and presented the scholarships.
“I’m proud that my application was convincing and I’m already looking forward to the new impressions. I am very pleased that HANDLER is supporting me and that I was able to accept the scholarship.” – Christoph Weber, structural engineering apprentice at HANDLER

There are many opportunities for development following the apprenticeship. Whether high school graduation and studies, training as a foreman, foreman or a job in the office. The company relies on its own initiative and everyone decides for themselves where they feel most comfortable.
