Upension reform is expected soon. The stakes are high: Belgium might be deprived of the first burst of European aid from the Recovery Plan if the restricted Council of Ministers (the kern) does not agree. The PS, which has the Ministry of Pensions, launched a petition entitled “Do not touch my pension”, accusing the Liberals of wanting to cancel the revaluation of the pension planned for January 1, 2024 – the minimum pension should then reach 1,700 euros net.
