Directive from the Minister of “Islamic Affairs” to all preachers and imams regarding the topic of the upcoming Friday sermon

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, directed today, Monday, the twenty-ninth of the month of Rajab for the year 1444 AH, the honorable mosque preachers in all regions of the Kingdom, to devote the next Friday sermon, the fourth of the month of Sha’ban for the year 1444 AH, to warn once morest fraud in trade And others, prohibiting monopoly and harming people by exaggerating profits.

The circular included an emphasis on including the sermon with the following axes: warning once morest fraud in trade and others, including tampering with products and commodities, clarifying the prohibition of that and citing the verses and hadiths of the Prophet, urging tolerance in buying and selling, not harming people in exaggerating gains, and clarifying the prohibition of monopolizing goods and not observing People’s situations.

The circular also stressed the importance of emphasizing the seriousness of the commercial concealment and the economic, security and social damages resulting from this crime and its impact on the individual and society.
