An elected official wants to divide the United States

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to divide the United States along political lines.

States that tend to vote for Republican candidates would be one country and more Democratic ones another.

This separation would diminish the power of the federal government, according to the politician.

We need a national divorce.

We need to separate by red states and blue states and shrink the federal government.

Ms. Taylor Greene is known to have very strong views associated with the extreme right of the Republican wing.

She is a great admirer of Donald Trump and she continues to hammer that the presidential election of 2020 was rigged.
