The crisis of the female lead in the movie “Taj” by Tamer Hosni

The cast of the Egyptian movie “Taj”, starring Tamer Hosni, is facing problems that may hinder its showing in the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr season, due to the continued apology of the nominated artists for the starring role.

After filming a number of scenes, actress Mai Omar apologized for completing the work in the film, and tweeted through her Twitter account: “Unfortunately, there were changes in the filming dates, and Tamer Hosni and I agreed that, God willing, we will meet in another work soon, and all my best wishes are for Tamer and his family.” The movie is a success.

The New Arab learned that the reason was due to Omar signing a contract to shoot the movie “Harley” and the conflicting times of filming the two works.

Omar was not the first to apologize for participating in “Taj.” Actress Hana Al Zahed preceded her, who did not announce the reason for her apology. Rather, she denied that the work had been offered to her in the first place, but workers in the film confirmed that she had met Tamer Hosni in more than A working session, but the difference in viewpoints prompted her to apologize.

It is expected that the successive apologies for participating in filming the work temporarily without the female lead, in order to avoid wasting time, especially since the film is nominated for screening in the Eid Al-Fitr cinematic race.

The film revolves around a fantasy comedy regarding Tamer Hosni, who embodies two characters of twin brothers, Taj and Haroun, who go through many crises with the succession of events. The work is directed by Sarah Wafik.
