Prithviraj-Shaji Kailash combo’s mass appeal entertainer film ‘Katuva’ to Tamil. Tiger will arrive on March 3 following dubbing in Tamil. The crew hopes that the film, which has collected more than 50 crores, will go ahead in Tamil as well.
The film was produced by Prithviraj Productions and Listyn Stephen’s Magic Frames. Tiger was also a hot topic among the Malaysian audience. A reference to their country in a foreign film led to discussions.
The movie says that a Malaysian company offered a bribe of Rs 3 crore to import palm oil. Opinions were raised that the film shows a clear picture of Malaysia, which is corrupt in all areas, and that this reference is tarnishing the country’s dignity.
But the movie had a good collection in Malaysia. The film hit the theaters on July 7 last year and started streaming on August 4 on OTT. The film arrived on Amazon Prime. Jinu v. Abraham has scripted the film. The film stars Vivek Oberoi and Samyukta in lead roles.
