Madeleine McCann: what object of hers was found in the main suspect’s van
The German girl, who lives in Poland, says she is not sure of her identity or her age. She, according to her recounts, she is 21 years old, but she believes that her age might not be that. Today Madeleine would be 19 years old.
“I think I can be Madeleine. I need a DNA test. UK and Polish police investigators try to ignore me. I will tell my story in posts here. Help me ”, reads the description of his Instagram profile.
“I think I may be Madeleine because: I was the victim of a German pedophile (Peter Nay) who looks like the photo number 48 on the findmadeleine.com website, I have a mark on the same eye, but my mark is faded (…) I have similar shape of face, ears, lips and had the space between the teeth,” said the girl.
According to the British media The Mirrorthe young woman began to believe that she might be Madeleine “a few months ago” because she heard “something” her grandmother said.
As a result of this message, a stir was generated on social networks. On the one hand, there are those who ask that the Police investigate, while others doubt their story.
The Madeleine McCann case
Madeleine disappeared from the apartment where her family was staying, inside a hotel complex in Praia da Luz, Portugal, on May 3, 2007. At the time, she was 3 years old and was in the room sleeping with two younger brothers, while his parents dined in a tapas bar a few meters from the place.
In May of this year, it will be 16 years since Madeleine was last seen alive: since then, the family has promoted her search and on many occasions they have been guided by clues and indications that later yielded no results.
The first of the suspects was Robert Murat, a British man, divorced and father of a girl. He lived 100 meters from the McCann family apartment, which is why he was targeted by investigators. After searching his home, computer and other electronic devices, he was released because he found no link to the kidnapping.
Then, the magnifying glass was placed on the parents of the little girl for alleged blood stains found in the family van. However, the tests would be inconclusive. In July 2008, the Portuguese Justice closed the case for lack of evidence.
Scotland Yard found a new clue in 2020: the agents targeted the German pedophile, Brüeckner, who was camping in the area at the time the young woman disappeared.
While the Metropolitan Police are still treating the case as a missing person investigation, German police presume that “Maddie” was murdered and that Brüeckner was involved.
The chief of detectives at the Met, Mick Neville, said days ago that it remains a possibility that she is still alive: if so, the girl would be 19 years old today.
In recent years, the team in charge of Operation Grange has been reduced from 40 officers to just four detectives working with Detective Chief Inspector Mark Cranwell, who also heads that force’s cold case review unit.
