At the same time, the story was regarding what we were going through, and it was written for Mentissa when she moved to “The Voice”. The two women have found a way to touch the hearts of the public. The coach first chose to keep Steffy in his team, but he immediately wanted to steal Sophie, just like Marc who tried to recover this magnificent talent. “I chose to stay with Mario, I feel like I can learn even more from him. Since the coaches have the possibility of saving only one person from their team, I found it touching that he wanted to save me and continue with him.
Élysabeth Rivest, 33, Saint-Thomas
Élysabeth Rivest suspected being paired with Marie-France Lantin for the duels because of their common style, especially on “I’m Every Woman”, by Chaka Khan. “It’s a song that makes me feel good, that makes me happy. With Marie-France, we enjoyed working together so much, we especially wanted to have fun.” The 33-year-old singer says she has already learned a lot with her coach Corneille. “We learn to see the man behind the artist.
