If you are part of the group that loves to party every year, this is the most anticipated season! ????
O Carnaval 2023 promises to take a crowd to the streets of Brazil – especially following two years without very significant parties due to the pandemic of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19).
But, so that this party doesn’t become a nightmare, it’s important that you follow some safety tips. In this article, we’ll take a look at your iPhone — following all, no one wants to stop capturing every moment of the most famous party in Brazil, right? ????
- Leave the iPhone in a safe place and close to your body — those little bags to carry money on trips or even to practice running, for example, are great. The point is: avoid putting it in a backpack with a backward opening.
- If your friends and/or family members have Apple devices, add them to Find My so they can locate your device.
- Still on the Find My app, make sure iPhone tracking is turned on. So, in case of robbery or theft, you can locate it on the map.
- If this happens, look for a police authority and file a police report (BO). Here, it might be a good idea to keep your iPhone’s serial number and IMEI down somewhere else.
- Use a strong, secure password on your phone — preferably one with six digits or even an alphanumeric one.
- Put a password on your SIM card.
- Make sure you use two-factor authentication and on apps like WhatsApp and Telegram.
- If you want to further increase the protection of these apps, activate biometric protection (Touch ID or Face ID) in apps like WhatsApp and Telegram, too.
- Avoid keeping bank applications on your cell phone during Carnival. If you carry physical cards with your iPhone (like the leather wallet with MagSafe), set a low limit and use available security services. Nubank, for example, recently launched the Street Mode.
- Protect your account password (Apple ID) and remove Touch ID/Face ID settings by enabling Screen Time restrictions — we teach you how to do all of that in this article.
We hope you have a great Carnival, without any headaches! ????
