On a total of eleven days from June 20th to July 8th, cabarets, readings and music are on the program: The exceptional Bavarian artist Hans Söllner will kick off with a solo concert. On June 22, actor and cabaret artist Heinz Marecek will present his program “My colleague, the monkey”.
Other program highlights include a reading from Arthur Schnitzler’s “Leutnant Gustl” by actor Karl Markovics and a concert by Voodoo Jürgens, who was awarded Album of the Year at the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards. On July 3rd, Dirk Stermann presents his first solo program “Together”. On July 5, Erika Pluhar will read from her books, read poetry and sing her lyrics a cappella. Ernst Molden and Nino from Vienna bring atmospheric music to the Kurpark.
Musically, things will continue on July 7th with Katharina Straßer. Under the title “Keine Angst” she and her band embark on a very personal and humorous journey through time through the history of Austrian pop music from 1970 to the present day. Benedikt Mitmannsgruber and David Stockenreitner will close the open-air festival. The acclaimed winners of the “Stuttgarter Besen” cabaret prize share the stage for an evening. The open-air culture festival is taking place for the fourth time this year in the Kurpark in Baden.
