The Ring Road 3 project in Ho Chi Minh City has a length of 76.34 km, passing through the territory of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Long An, with a total investment of 75,378 billion VND.

It is expected that in June, the locality will hand over 70% of the site to the construction unit to start construction in the beginning of the third quarter. However, the implementation of documents and procedures for mining materials encountered many difficulties due to obstacles in the provisions of the mineral law, investment law and land law.

Ring Road 3 in Ho Chi Minh City is a very important project for Long An and the provinces located in the southern key economic region. Therefore, right from the beginning of 2023, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc – Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee led the field survey mission and directed the relevant sectors to carry out the tasks as quickly and as possible.

According to the Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee, the units need to complete the site clearance work in the second quarter of 2023 and will start construction at the beginning of the third quarter. Long An is working closely with Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Binh Duong to complete pre-feasibility documents to submit to the Government and National Assembly as soon as possible.

In terms of capital, in addition to the support from the Central Government, the part of capital under the responsibility of Long An will ensure enough money to carry out the site clearance as soon as possible to start construction and complete the entire project by 2026.
