The President of the Italian Parliament invited to visit Morocco

The President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana, received the Ambassador of Morocco to Italy, Youssef Balla. Parliamentary cooperation was at the heart of the discussions. On this occasion, Fontana took note of the invitation addressed to him by the President of the Chamber of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami to go to Morocco. Details.

According to the Italian pressduring the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of Palazzo Montecitorio in Rome, the two parties underlined “the excellence of bilateral relations” and discussed ways and means of strengthening cooperation between the two parliaments, through new instruments such as the parliamentary forum.

The ambassador of the Kingdom, according to the same source, reiterated to Lorenzo Fontana the invitation of his Moroccan counterpart, Rachid Talbi Alami, to make an official visit to Morocco. Various topics of regional interest were also discussed during this meeting.

This meeting is part of the political dialogue that the two countries seem to want to preserve. The bet is therefore made on parliamentary diplomacy to strengthen bilateral relations.
