The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the release The six Egyptians detained in Libyaconfirming its follow-up on the safe return of the people of Egypt to the homeland, according to what was confirmed by the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zaid, via Twitter.
Abu Zaid wrote through his official account on Twitter: According to the information received from our embassy in Tripoli, the six Egyptians detained in Libya have been released, thank God. We are following up on the safe return of the people of Egypt to the homeland, God willing.
It should be noted that the six citizens had left the country with travel permits that required their presence in the Libyan east only without going beyond it to other regions, which the citizens pledged to abide by. Then the Libyan authorities to facilitate their deportation and return them safely to the homeland.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls upon the citizens not to violate the instructions related to travel to Libya, and to fully adhere to the areas of presence and movement announced and communicated to them before travel, in order to ensure the safety of all citizens of the country. The relevant state agencies will continue to make maximum efforts to ensure the return of the six citizens at the earliest.
