According to the real image obtained by the Chinese newspaper CNMO, the Xiaomi Pad 6 line will have a camera module with the same design as the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Strategically, this would help the marketing campaign by giving the same look as their top-of-the-line devices, as well as saving on assembly and design costs.
Apparently, the Xiaomi Pad 6’s primary camera is housed at the top of the module and lines divide the rest of the components. It is possible to notice a secondary camera, which has not had details released so far and a third unit, which should only be an addition for symmetry.
According to information, the leaked image should be of the standard model of the Xiaomi Pad 6 line and not the Pro models. If true, this will be an improvement, as the last generation only had one camera.
Previous rumors claim that the Xiaomi Pad 6 will launch globally later this year and will come with the Snapdragon 870 chipset, while the Pro variant will bring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Other features are expected to include support for 120Hz refresh rate and 120W fast charging .

As a reminder, the Xiaomi Pad 5 line was launched in August 2021, while the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 came out in June 2018. This shows that Xiaomi does not have a specific time to launch its tablets, always choosing the most opportune moment for the company . It is also worth noting that the Chinese manufacturer took three years to make the Xiaomi Pad 5 official following the Mi Pad 4.
Apparently, the Pad 6 will be released a year and a half following the Xiaomi Pad 5. The leak says that the new lineup will consist of the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, which are codenamed Pipa and Liuqin respectively. The first should bring the Snapdragon 870 platform, while the second will come with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1.
Rumors claim that the tablets will have sizes that will vary between 11 and 12 inches, bringing thin edges and a dual module on the back of each. Other previous leaks cited that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro would come with an AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1880 pixels, support for 120 Hz refresh rate and quad speakers.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is expected to be restricted to China, while the Pad 6 is expected to receive a global launch. It is worth remembering that the Xiaomi Pad 5 had a global launch in a vast number of countries, including Brazil.
