The Court of Auditors renounces to investigate the expenses of the Walloon Parliament

These are the construction of an underground passage linking the Grognon car park to the Parliament building, the Saint-Gilles, the cost of which has risen from 700,000 euros to more than 3 million, and that of the “house of parliamentarians ” housing offices, meeting rooms and infrastructure accessible to the general public. A project that ultimately cost 46 million euros, once morest 10 initially.

Gifts to agents of the Walloon parliament: deputies abolish certain advantages and grant new ones

A few days ago, André Frédéric (PS), the new president of the assembly, was informed of the stopping of the procedure and even of the destruction of the documents received by the Court. The files are indeed now put to the instruction and the Court does not want to interfere with the legal proceedings, which would be the case if it published a detailed report. This was announced for the month of June. We will therefore have to wait for the end of the investigation to know the end of this file.
