During the month of January, the majorettes of the Confluent met several times to prepare “the passage of degrees of sticks”. Julie Bonnefoie, instructor of the French Federation of Music and Cheerleaders (FFMM) came from Toulouse to pass the evaluations. Many parents attended these demonstrations and supported the young girls. The technical gestures had been worked on upstream with the coaches since this fall, but for some, the stress was very present. The time had therefore come to show in public the progress made. Five majorettes obtained the first degree and four passed the second degree.
Recently, the group has grown, some new cheerleaders have joined the older ones. The midday meal taken together made it possible to meet new parents who will be called upon during the trips.
The leaders are reinforced for the programming of the outings which will take place, from spring, during the festivities in the villages of Lot-et-Garonne and the bordering departments. The group also participates in majorette festivals organized in the region.
