According to his doctor, US President Joe Biden is in good health and fully capable of taking office. “President Biden remains a healthy, vigorous 80-year-old man capable of successfully discharging the duties of the presidency,” Biden’s personal physician, Kevin O’Connor, wrote in a health certificate released by the White House on Thursday.
The doctor also certifies that the US Democrat has a healthy lifestyle: “The President does not consume any tobacco products, does not drink alcohol and continues to exercise at least five times a week.” However, the five-page letter also lists some health problems, including a stiff gait and frequent clearing and coughing.
Biden, who is considering running for president once more, underwent a comprehensive health check this morning. The White House presented the last health certificate in November 2021. Last summer, the President fell ill with Covid.
