Jasvir Singh is one of Britain’s best-known Sikhs. And he’s also gay. Ms. Singh rarely revealed this fact until recently. This has caused some friction with the Sikh community, but now she wants to speak out regarding her sexuality, Singh said.

Shin lined up the photos on the table in front of him and took a deep breath. It is a picture of her happy moment when she married her husband Nick.

“I know it’s very controversial to talk regarding this,” Singh said.
