Microsoft is increasing the pressure on users. As the company writes, their goal is to bring all Windows 11 devices to the latest update in the near future. This has only been distributed for four months.
Windows 11 Update 21H2 will therefore no longer be supported from October 10, 2023. 22H2 should be distributed automatically by then. The devices that have been using 21H2 for the longest time are served first – both Pro and Home editions.
However, the automatic update can be postponed. In the system settings there is an option for this: “Suspend updates”. So you can keep the older version for at least a few weeks longer.
