The messaging application launched an update in which it introduced five new features to improve its performance, and these are:

  • audio states: You can now post voice notes of up to 30 seconds in the states of the official version of WhatsApp for iOS and Android devices. Just update the application > open it and go to the “States” section > click on the pencil icon located in the lower right corner > click on the microphone below and start recording.
  • link preview: When you post links or links in WhatsApp states, not only will the text appear, but also a display of the content so that your contacts have an idea of ​​what they will open.
  • Share up to 100 media– Previously, the app only allowed you to send a total of thirty photos or videos in a single message, this figure has just increased to one hundred, however, the feature is only available in the WhatsApp Beta program.
  • Audio to text transcription: as its name indicates, you will be able to convert a voice message to text. To do so, just click on the audio that was sent to you and the aforementioned option will automatically appear, you will even have the ability to choose a language.
  • call scheduling: Now you can schedule calls or video calls through personal and group conversations with a total of 32 participants. To do so, click on the phone icon (top right) > two options will be displayed: “Call the group” and “Schedule call”, choose the latter > here a window will appear for you to place a title, specify the time and date > finally click on “Create”.
