According to a study, in which 420 cities from 89 different countries were taken into account, the prestigious Forbes magazine chose Malaga as the best city in the world as an alternative to large capitals. Malaga would be the best city in the world, above Barcelona in the case of Spain for visits, vacations or to settle there.

Malaga above well-known cities

The article, titled Explore This Map Of The World’s Best Alternative Capital Cities, places Malaga above other major European and global cities such as Lyon (France), Split (Croatia), Casablanca (Morocco), Munich (Germany), Osaka (Japan) and Vancouver (Canada). About Malaga, the renowned Forbes highlights its “beautiful beaches”, its monuments and more particularly the Alcazaba and the castle of Gibralfaro, but also its notoriety thanks to its cultural icon, the charismatic painter of world renown, because Malaga is the “Birthplace of Picasso and headquarters of Picasso museum” and of course its fifty museums which highlight all the streets of the center.

The city of Malaga has always been very popular all over the world!

As expressed by the mayor of Malaga, Francisco De La Torre, the city of Malaga has an excellent reputation, as highlighted by the Forbes ranking, and this observation must be further amplified.
