By leaving his position as liaison in the Bío Bío, the Minister of Public Works slipped the ideological component or revenge that might be behind the forest fires, something that -he said- the investigations should establish.
With a greeting and recognition of the troops who fought the fires by land, the minister said goodbye Juan Carlos Garciathis in an activity carried out in the Plaza Independencia de Concepción, Bío Bío region, precisely on the day that the forest brigade member is commemorated.

Intentional for different reasons, some will be ideological, others due to pyromania, others due to past accounts; and between one and the other, we will undoubtedly have to investigate each one of them“said the Secretary of State.
Although the fight once morest the accidents had an impact on air resources, the regional director of Conaf, Rodrigo JaraHe said that the work of the brigade members, deployed in the three regions with the largest fires, was key.
“The work that our brigade members have carried out has been fundamental for the containment of these 189,000 hectares that have been affected in our region,” said Jara.
Government expedites reconstruction
